Bicycle trailer frame… steel, alloy, or aluminum?
I am curious to know which of the 3 is better… what is the difference? I am searching for a bicycle trailer for my toddler. Has anyone ever heard of the Sunlite bicycle trailers? Any info you can give me on them? I’m having a hard time finding consumer reviews. I am most interested in the Sunlite Hard Shell Deluxe Bicycle Child Trailer. Thanks!
You have to be careful with this. How it’s made is as important as what it’s made from. Generally, steel and alloy are about the same in American made products. I’d be very cautious of aluminum unless it is very well made – it can fatigue and crack.
I have a friend with one of these, not sure if its steel or alloy. It looks plenty sturdy and safe, and the kid loves it. Provide a blanket and pillow, they often fall asleep in there. 
For very young ones, be careful about the direct sunlight they may be getting and keep them shaded!
