any ideas on how to make a nice bicycle sissy bar for those long rides?
id like to know how to make one so my back doesnt hurt as i ride 2-3 hours at a time
its a mountain bike 26″ and im 6’1 180 lbs in good shape…maybe i just have back probs? maybe the rough trails have something to do with it but when im on the flats id love to have ab ackrest
I will lay odds that your bike is way too small for you. Specifically the handlebars are too low. I am your height. I ride a 21″ GT mountain bike with a riser stem and downhill bars. Bars are still too low. That is the problem with most bikes today. Head tubes not long enough to make up for lack of adjustment in the threadless headsets.
I ride a custom frame tandem with a 9 inch long head tube. Handlebars are the same height as my saddle. I see no reason this shouldn’t be the same for mountain bikes.
